Getting to know /// The Survival Code
Lately I’ve been discovering a lot of new up-and-coming UK bands and the truth is that Great Britain has never failed to impress me new-music-wise. Apart from already well-known bands, the country has a lot unsigned talents who are still due to make their appearance at the stages of Download or Reading & Leeds. My today’s discovery is The Survival Code.
The Survival Code is a four-piece London-based rock band. Set up only in October 2011, the band already has a lot to offer to rock lovers. Everything – beginning with powerful, intensive vocals and finishing with impressive, uprising melodies – shows the musicians’ skills and makes their tunes very appealing. There’s a sense of musicianship and bond felt in every note which can’t fail to capture listeners. Drawing their influences from the likes of Muse, Deftones and Silverchair, The Survival Code has their own character which is very distinct even at this young stage of the band.
